Welcome To My Second Drift

On this drift I walked the streets of Milwaukee close to the lake. I captured images and video using an image capture strategy which is explained in at the end of the blog. I also incorporated a walking or strategy and that would be my path through out my walk. I then took all that I had gathered and edited five rough cuts together using QuickTime Pro to see which direction I wanted to take for my final cuts. The first three videos you see consist of my final cut videos and the next five are my rough cuts. I hope that you enjoy experiencing the experiences that I encountered.

Stuck In The Mud

I wanted to give the feel that the viewer was getting stuck against the flow of the video.

Lifeline

For this video I used a lot of images that had layers within them along the image of a continuous line. I aimed to represent a timeline of life.

Real and Reflection

I wanted to confuse the viewer of what they were actually looking at. Mainly, the confusing part comes between what the "real" captured images are and the reflected "illusions" of images.
